The secret story of Harald Schön in Monaco
There is a secret behind every great portrait.
He learned his craft from master photographer Gerard Wipfler, a man obsessed with the perfect line of a Porsche. As an assistant and collaborator, he then entered the world of fashion and advertising photography – shaped by legends such as Helmut Newton, Karl Lagerfeld, Peter Lindbergh and Walter E. Lautenbacher. Since 1988, he has been working with his own mobile studio: for brands whose names you know, and for people who want to be remembered.
Harald knows one thing for sure: the best portraits are not taken. They are staged – with care, with respect and with a good sense of humour. Before the shoot, he listens. Who are you? What do you stand for? How do you want the world to see you?
His aim is simple: that you forget the camera and remember the moment. And that everyone who sees your portrait remembers you.
Cars, yachts and brands have been his stars for decades. Now it is your turn.
